Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Parasol HQ, the web application operated by Parasol Bookkeeping LLC, a Nevada limited liability company (“Parasol Bookkeeping LLC,” “we,” “us”) at app.parasolbooks.com (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who may use the Service
Parasol HQ is a private, access-controlled system for the exclusive use of Parasol Bookkeeping LLC’s authorized staff and the client representatives it grants access to. It is not open to the public. You may use the Service only if you have been issued credentials or a valid access link by Parasol Bookkeeping LLC, and only for the business purposes for which access was granted.
2. Accounts and security
- Keep your credentials confidential and do not share your account. Passkeys and passwords are personal to you.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
- Access may be logged and monitored for security and compliance. Any attempt to access data or functions you are not authorized to use is prohibited.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in violation of any law or of any obligation you owe to a client or third party;
- attempt to probe, scan, breach, disable, or circumvent any security or access control, or access another organization’s data;
- copy, scrape, or extract data except as needed for your authorized work, or disclose data to anyone not entitled to receive it;
- upload malicious code, or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service.
4. Client and third-party information
The Service holds confidential business, financial, and personal information belonging to Parasol Bookkeeping LLC and its clients. You must treat all such information as confidential, use it only for your authorized work, and handle it in accordance with Parasol Bookkeeping LLC’s policies and applicable law.
5. Intellectual property
Parasol HQ and all associated software, design, text, and trademarks are owned by Parasol Bookkeeping LLC and/or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended business purpose; they do not transfer any ownership rights. Data you enter on behalf of a client remains the property of that client or Parasol Bookkeeping LLC, as applicable.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and accurate but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Figures and reports generated by the Service are working tools and do not replace professional accounting, tax, legal, or audit judgment.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parasol Bookkeeping LLC and its licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. 9. Suspension and termination
